Cara Tyrrell

Cara is a mother to three beautiful daughters, two here on earth and her first, Emma Grace, who lives in heaven.  She is currently writing an intimate memoir about her loss, After Emma: One Mother’s Journey of Self-Discovery Through Grieving The Loss of Her Baby.  The book features a guide of healing truths and healing actions for bereaved parents. She is also the author of the grief/loss blog, Building Heavenly Bridges; a parenting after loss blog, The Bear and the Comedian; and a memorial site to all angel children.

In addition, she leads Share Southern Vermont, a group that supports grieving parents in her local community.  Cara holds an MA Degree in Deaf Education and passionately advocates for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students.  She lives in Proctorsville, Vermont with her husband and two living daughters.
